Meet David Howard

David Howard is a native of Moody, Alabama, where his family settled in the early 1800s. After graduating from Moody High School in 1989, he attended Jefferson State Junior College and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

David's entrepreneurial spirit began at the age of 14 when he started a Christmas tree business at Moody Crossroads in 1984. Throughout his career, he has owned several different businesses. He has spent the last 16 years in Panama City Beach, where he established a real estate brokerage and has been actively involved in the sales, development, construction, and management of vacation homes along the Florida Gulf Coast.

David has since retired early and returned to his hometown of Moody, where he now resides on the Howard Family Holiday Farm, a 40-acre property located on Highway 411. His passion and commitment to Moody are evident; he truly loves his hometown and prioritizes the needs of its residents.

David's expertise in negotiating multi-million-dollar projects is a valuable asset. He also has a keen interest in design and construction. His strong communication skills enable him to grasp the perspectives of all parties involved in any issue. David is dedicated to promoting the longevity and economic vitality of the community, ensuring transparent communication with city officials and enhancing the quality of life for the citizens of Moody—all of which contribute to positive changes in the area.
